Stand Still today God's people, and see the salvation of the Lord! - Many of us are going through severe trials and tribulations at the hand of our enemies. The bible declares that Satan walks to and fro throughout the earth, looking for someone to devour. He is looking for those that do not stand on their faith, he is looking for those that are weak and without the power of God in their life, he is looking for those without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. We must remember that Jesus told us that in this life we shall have much tribulation, and that in him, we will over come our enemies and be more than conquerers through Christ Jesus, the one in which we draw our strength.God also told us that many are the afflictions of the righteous, but God promises to deliver us out of them all. Did we forget about Shedrach, Meshach and Abedego? How they were thrown in the fiery furnace, and no matter how hot it got, they vowed to trust in their God and was not moved by the power of the heat. Becuase of the power of their faith, God responded in a mighty way. When we are going through the fiery furnace, we must remember the things that God has taught us and shown us. In the furnace, Stand Still and trust your God to come in and bring you out! If he did it for Meshach, Shedrach, and Abedego,he'll do it for you too. Amen?Let us stand still and see that God can save us from all things; that's what salvation is. God did not save us once, he saves us everyday from trials, people and things. Stand still and watch him work. If we are constantly being moved and tossed to and fro by our afflictions, we will never see God do anything in our lives. We must learn to Stand Still and rest in the Lord! My goal is to see that God's people arise and come alive to reap the promises God has spoken to us. Let all God's people say, Amen.
