Why is it that some people are successful in trading the markets? And why is it some people fail? Is it luck that determines if you are successful or not in making money from the market? Is it the system or strategy that a person use which determines their success?

A lot would say that it is the system or strategy that they employ which ultimately determines if they come out winning from the market.

Every system that exists on the internet will show you how to make money using it. Without a doubt, it will make money for you. The question is usually how much money will the system make for you. All the system that out there will show to you how their system has work base on historical data or activity and then at the bottom of the page there would be a disclaimer clause that states ‘.. Historical data does not determine or guarantee future earnings....’

So why is it that these sites or page include this disclaimer clause?

The disclaimer clause is incorporated in it because they know that there are certain elements which they can not control. Human emotions.

Human emotions are always the key to either success or failure in any business. And it is no difference when trading the markets. Read all the books about trading that you want, buy all the successful system that you want. If you canÂ’t control your emotions, you canÂ’t succeed in the markets.

ThatÂ’s the reason for the disclaimers clause because the one thing that the author can not control is their subscribers or customers emotions.

In the market there are but only two main emotions that every trader will experience; GREED and FEAR. When this emotion appears it is not how we eliminate it but rather how we act on it. There are natural emotions that can not be eliminated. This emotions forces us to action, thus how we act on it will determine the outcome.

Like anger, when we are angry at someone, itÂ’s either we say something nasty or we can just kick a bucket or we can just dive into a pool of water. Which ever action that we take, it produces a different outcome or result.

All too often when we begin to see two to three consecutive loses on our trading activities, we would begin to have doubt. When this happens we are already at the state of fear, we fear losing more of our money and thus begin to doubt that the system is working.

While no system is absolute, meaning no system will guarantee that you will make money ALL the time. The system seller would say that we would be able to make money consistently, provided we follow their system to the dot.

On the other hand, when we begin to see two or three consecutive we begin to feel on top of the world. We begin to feel that we can start making good money from the market and then start tweaking the system or maybe putting more money in the market to leverage our earnings or maybe begin to take on more positions, which ultimately make us deviate from the system which we were using. This is when greed has already stepped in to rule our thoughts.

There is saying ‘The system is only as good as the person using it’. So if we don’t follow the system either with we are making loses or when we are creating profits. We would ultimately fail. And to follow the system requires discipline. The discipline to act on our fear and greed when it sets in, will determine how well we do in the market.

Once again discipline is the key. We must have the discipline to say ‘I have reached my target. I should take profits now even though it may go higher’ when greed sets in. And when fear sets in one should say ‘I have to take a position even though the market does not seem to be moving in my favor’

While these are but two circumstances when greed and fears arises, there are, and will be many instances when we need to make a decision to either enter or exit the market. And these are very two most important decisions to take in order to succeed in the markets. The discipline to follow the system diligently no matter what happens to the market

So no matter how good the system is, the only and sure way is to lasting success in the market depend on the discipline to overcome our personal emotional to follow a particular system religiously.

The hardest and most important part of any negotiation is knowing when to walk away.Few things are sweeter than a successful negotiation session where both parties leave the table with a winning solution. That's because the stakes are high: Negotiate too hard and you lose the deal; be too timid and you may not get what you want.The three most important concerns in any negotiation are the relationship, the risk, and the value--the real decision criteria underlying any future business transactions. So whether you're negotiating a salary increase with your board or a contract with a vendor, before beginning the process it's critical for you to cross three essential mental bridges:1. Clarify the relationship. "What is the current real and perceived business and personal relationship, and what is its true value to my credit union's future?" Far too often people hold on to the past not realizing that they need to let go to be free to reach out for something better.Carefully consider what could be lost in this negotiation, but also what new doors may open should there be successful negotiation. Too many business leaders continue with existing relationships beyond their prime simply because it's easier and more comfortable than striking out to develop a new relationship that better suits their organization's future.2. Clearly structure the outcome both parties desire. Very often, people enter a negotiation with the drive to win, but they never commit to paper beforehand precisely what that means. Yes, they have a general idea (to place the contract at the best price or cost); however, they haven't defined the optimal combination of price/cost and all other terms that reflect both parties' best long-term interests.Identify what it will take for all parties to believe they've been treated fairly. Outlining what each party should view as a "great deal" often leads to the optimum win-win agreement. After all, negotiating is merely a more formalized variation of common marketplace bartering. It's all about give and take and each party's perceptions of value. You offer. They counter. You respond. And so it goes.3. Determine your walk-away point. The hardest and most important part of any negotiation is knowing when to walk away. Decide when you'll walk away from the deal before the negotiation process, because it's difficult to identify it in the heat of the negotiation.It's important to approach your walk away point calmly, as negotiators truly need to understand what each side requires to make it a "great win-win" agreement. Then, if the other side becomes unreasonable and prevents your desired outcome from happening, weigh the predetermined value you placed on the relationship as well as ask the question, "Do we really have a mutual relationship or merely one party taking undue advantage of the other?"Once you've laid out the previous three steps you can begin negotiation, realizing that at times the process requires the patience and confidence to be still. For example, if the other party precipitates a long silence then wait, say nothing, and let the other party break the silence.While it's important to hold out firmly for your high priority/risk issues, holding out for a lost cause isn't in your best interest. Know when to give in on a point. If it's not a walk away issue, then concede and negotiate onward.
Most important, realize when you're approaching the walk away point. The power of blogging.

First and formost what is a Blog? A blog is basically a journal
that is available on the web. The activity of updating a blog is
"blogging" and someone who keeps a blog is a "blogger."

The growth of blog usage over the last year has been
incrediable. Blog readership increased from 17% of internet
users to 27% in just 9 months. The number of blog authors has
increased from 3% in July 2002, 5% at the beginning of 2004, and
7% by late November 2004.

A quick search on the net for blogs and you find that not only
are the general public using them as a way of electronically
noteing their feelings and thoughts but also businesses are
using them as an informal way of updating their clients of
products and services.

It seems that when it comes to blogging big businesses and small
businesses are on the same playing field. A blog offers any
business the opportunity to communicate with employees, and
customers, sharing knowledge and expertise.

As you may or may not have realised is that blogging is a big
plus and if used correctly can provide an interesting and
effective way to increase brand identity and awareness.

My personal web design company (Able Net Design) has seen an
increase in interest of blogs and its use with our own
customers. It seems that everyone is jumping on this new system,
as a cheap and effective way to spread the word.

A quick google search for the term "business blogging" returns
11,200,000 results. There are even companies poping up
everywhere as blog consultants, which can help set up a blog
that you will get the most out of.

Is blogging really as good as everyone thinks, well i am
certainly having some fun with it and am sure if it didn't work
it would have died by now.

But what are people blogging about? Well people are blogging
about everything and anything and there are some reports that
people are making a nice little income from it aswell.

Income off a blog how can that be? That is the same question i
asked when i first heard about it. I would have thought that the
process to making money of a blog would have been quite involved
however I have discovered that it is quite the opposite.

It seems that with the use of strategicly placed advertisements
and a large amount of traffic bloggers are utilising the paid to
click type of advertisements, to earn profits.

Now i thought this has to be tested, so i impletemented a few
different paid to click advertisements on my blogs to see how
they go. It took me little over 10 minutes to change my blog
templates and implement these advertisements.

So with the ads up and running i decided to continue posting as
usual to see what happens. Well i can say that im not going to
get rich quick. However i assume that the more traffic you have
the more clicks you will get, and since my blogs are relatively
new i didn't have high hopes. But all in all it is a fun way to
keep the bloging interesting.

The blogging revolution just seems to keep on getting bigger and
bigger with Google and Yahoo releasing its on Blog search engine
and others like Technorati which would be the most well known
blog search engine. Technorati claims to be tracking 20.1
million sites, and if you view their top 100 blogs you will see
that the topics which are being blogged about are endless and
unique in every category you could think of.

Sell Corkscrews on eBay

I knew I'd found something special when a colleague who normally sells vintage postcards turned to listing corkscrews instead. She's someone I check out often, use as a role model, she regularly achieves high prices for her postcards, I've learned a lot from her. But I stood to learn - and earn - a great deal more from this new-found interest of hers: vintage corkscrews.The very first of her offerings, a corkscrew with handle shaped like a mermaid, made over £1,000. Others, also with novelty and ornate handles, have fetched double figures and, from my experience, they're commonly found at offline auctions and flea markets where price tags of two or three pounds are common.Marvel at these recent eBay finishing prices: a rare 'flip out' (misspelled, should have been flip out) made from brass and resembling a flick knife made £2,051.61; an Italian stirrup shaped corkscrew went for £2750.00; a ratchet corkscrew from 1869 fetched $1812.77, not one of which were well described or blatantly unusual.Tips to Help You Buy and Sell Corkscrews for Profit* Corkscrews have been around since the mid-1600s but it's those from 1850 onwards that fetch the highest prices at auction. Before this, most household objects were made to be used, not looked at, so they were plain, functional, not ornate and grandiose such as some appearing in the late 1800s which now fetch fabulous prices on eBay. So, generally speaking, the more ornate and elaborate the corkscrew the higher its price is likely to be.* That said, I've seen very plain corkscrews priced about £1 a time at flea market fetching a fiver or more on eBay so it's worth buying anything that's genuinely old and very cheap. 'Dirty' usually indicates old and because few plain corkscrews become auction best sellers you'll rarely find them faked or made to look older than they really are. They're always worth buying!* The earliest designs comprised a steel spiral fixed to a wooden handle. Subsequently handles became precious works of art, made from silver or gold, encrusted with diamonds or inlaid with ivory or mother of pearl. In time the simple spiral was replaced by mechanical devices to make opening bottles easier still, some even had a small brush attached for cleaning dust from bottles removed after years of maturing in dusty cellars. More desirable and consequently more valuable are specimens with unusual attachments such as brush or bell cap (a metal piece to fit over the bottle neck), containing precious jewels or painstaking artwork.* The Victorians' love of all things new-fangled, somewhat risqué, and heavily ornate, spawned some of the most beautiful and highly prized items. They include a multitude of corkscrews just sold on eBay, with 'Victorian' in the title, that fetched forty to eighty pounds each, and all looking rather ordinary, with simple wooden handles and commonplace screw. Similar vintage items not labelled 'Victorian' reached lower prices. That word 'Victorian' could double your corkscrew's value, as long as it's true!* My research revealed antique French creations fetching two to three times their corresponding English manufactures.* Add something a little unusual or with separate use and corkscrew prices rise, such as a folding antique corkscrew that fetched £158.00, a French creation depicting a champagne bottle with pocket knife in the handle that made £159.99, and a UK corkscrew shaped like ladies' legs that went for £185.00.* The screw is sometimes called a 'worm' or 'helix' and was made from twisted wire or cast into shape. Because corkscrews were constantly used and in regular contact with water and alcohol, the worm on older corkscrews is frequently found broken, damaged or heavily rusted. Rust can be cleared or reduced with oil which also keeps moving parts in working order. Serious damage or sloppy repairs to screw or handle can render a common corkscrew almost worthless and will seriously reduce value of most highly prized specimens.* The most collectible corkscrews are those with ornate handles, unusual mechanisms, popular maker's name. Precious metals add significantly to resale value. Popular makers include Merritt, Gaskell and Chambers, Lund Lever, Samuel Pemberton.* A past famous owner increases value significantly, and there are collectors specializing solely in items once owned by the likes of Al Capone and other gangsters alongside more respected citizens such as U.S. Presidents, well known entertainers, writers, and so on. The Modern Bridesmaid

It’s a whole new day, and there is a whole new look for
bridesmaids. It’s a welcome change from the past years. At it’s
not just the bridesmaids look that has gotten a facelift, the
brides are sporting a whole new look too.

Traditional wedding gowns and traditional white will always be a
choice. That’s a tradition that’s just not going to disappear.
And that’s okay. But the choices now available for the modern
bride are welcome change, allowing those creative juices to
flow, and one’s own personality to stand out.

The history of the bridesmaids attire is quite interesting. In
past centuries brides wore elaborate colorful gowns, and
bridesmaids wore similar gowns. This was to disguise the bride
and protect her from being kidnapped by evil spirits. By the
Victorian era things had changed producing brides that wanted to
stand out in the crowd. Thus the formal elaborate white wedding
gown entered the wedding fashion scene. However the bridesmaids
attire didn’t change, remaining bold and frilly.

Well this century bridesmaids have a lot more to say about what
they wear. Not only have the traditional dresses taken on a more
sophisticated and elegant look. Many brides now let their
bridesmaids choose their own dress based on the chosen color
scheme. All bridesmaids weren’t created equal. By allowing them
to choose a dress that flatters them, you have happier
bridesmaids and better photo ops.

Gowns and dresses worn by the modern bridesmaid are often
functional enough for other formal events and gatherings. A much
smarter alternative to the expensive gown that’s worn once then
buried deep in the closet never to be seen again. We all
remember wearing one of those “awful” dresses at some point.

There are also no longer fast and set rules on how many
bridesmaids you must have. The size of your wedding often
relates to how many attendants, and these days the choice is
entirely up to you. Tradition has gone out the window, a
pleasing thought for many future brides. You can even have more
than one maid of honor if you wish. The rules you must play by
are your own rules.

The same new rules apply to your flower girl[s] and ring
bearer[s] choose more than one, have only one, have one of each.
The best age range for this very important little people’s job
is between 5 and 7. Younger children have a harder time staying
focused. Now if you don’t’ mind if they mess up a little bit,
then by all means you can choose a younger child. After all they
can be a great source of amusement! Older children will also be
thrilled to be chosen to man the guestbook or help guests. It
makes them feel extra special.

The more bridesmaids you have the more coordination and
communication your going to have to take care of. Remember
you’ll have plenty of issues to deal with from dresses, to
nails, to hair, to jewelry. So don’t choose more bridesmaids
than you think you can handle. This is supose to be a happy time
for you and stress doesn’t make a person happy.

Forget the old theory that if you don’t include everyone that’s
close to you, there will be hard feelings. Most women have
outgrown this childish thought pattern, and recognize that the
modern bride has tough choices to make to stay within budget and
fulfill her special day. Sometimes a future bride just has too
many close friends to have them all in the wedding party. Relax!
Invite them to the wedding, and if you want ask them to do
special favors such as perhaps your nails or your hair,
depending on their own unique talents.

The maid of honor has a role to play besides in the wedding
party. She needs to be the brides right arm and help with any
wedding tasks she can. She can help select the wedding gown, get
the invitations in order, arrange a wedding shower, help with
choosing a reception location, help decorate, or even help
prepare the food. The duties that can be assigned to your made
of honor are endless, just be sure not to overwhelm her with too
many requests. Your maid of honor is like the brides personal
first aid kit. Ready to fix anything that’s broken.

Bridesmaids also play an important role by planning the bridal
shower, preparing munchies, cake, or sandwiches for the shower.
They are also there to support and help the bride whenever they
can.

For the modern bride these are happy times, choices are endless,
you can make your fashion statement and let your bridesmaid’s
make theirs. No more having to follow traditions unless you want
to. Planning the perfect wedding has never been easier!

So as you lose muscle, it gets harder to keep the fat off. Elliot Wave: What is it?Elliot Wave is a way of defining the market action in a five wave formation. A very simple explanation. It basically says mass psychology is predictable in a liquid market by a five wave cycle. An accumulation wave. A correction. A much bigger wave. A correction again. Then the final "speculative" wave. Where the public jumps in. This is the final wave and the the next correction is not correction as such but the end of the market cycle.A picture is worth a thousand words. See the chart of the NASDAQ during the great "bear" of 2001 to 2003So, looking at the above chart Elliot Wave does seem to hold some credibility. It's is clear the great market crash of 2001 to 2003 did move in an almost perfectly formed five wave cycle. Three waves down. Leg three being the biggest and leg five being the final one. All seems well.This is what I want to say about Elliot Wave. In a "nutshell" it does seem to have some substance. Look at some monthly bar charts of a liquid market (where there is massive public participation) and you will be able to see some great five wave formations. Great. That's about all the interest I have in Elliot Wave. There is absolutely nothing you can trade off. It's not quantifiable. Sometimes you will see Elliot Wave formations, most of the time you will not. And then it gets worse.Ask twenty Elliot Wave enthusiasts what they see in the same chart and I'll guarantee you will get twenty different answers. How can you trade of something so subjective? Why should a market move up in three waves? where's the common sense about this method? I do not see it.And when an E.W. formation goes wrong do they say "oh sorry I am wrong. cut your losses and get out"? No. They they bring in extra rules about a correction wave within the formation and pile more and more B*S already onto a sea of B*S and non-sense.I used to subscribe to an E.W newsletter. It was really interesting to listen to. this market was in this wave and would go here.. blah,blah,blah.... I didn't make any money from their recommendations. Lost a lot.Verdict:Something that might hold some academic interest if this is what "bakes your potatoes" but beyond the definition about liquid markets moving in five waves... I wouldn't delve any deeper into this. I honestly do not believe you can trade from this "theory"Rating2 / 10W.D Gann: What is it?This isn't a what but a who. WD Gann was a famous trader who made millions, billions way back at the turn of the century by predicting future stock market trends by using the superb Gann Angle System. Just think for a few hundred dollars many vendors are willing to let you find the "Gann Secrets" and help you make millions in the stock market. Drop everything.. we have found the Holy Grail of stock trading.Back to reality. Gann ..... do your-self a favor and do not even waste your time in this area. For one it is a method that tries to "predict" the future. ANY method that does this, in my eyes, should not even be considered. But here are some shocking facts about the so called brillaint WD Gann and his amazing method.The Gann method is about measuring slope of trends to predict reversals in those trends. It's fancy. It can look great on "cherry picked" past charts. But predict the future.... it can not do!You must read William Gallacher's book: "Winner Takes All", It is some time since I read it and do not have a copy here right now but I always remember the section on the Gann Method. His son was interviewed for a position at a bank and the conversation of his father (the Great W.D. Gann) came up. It went something like this:Interviewer: So what happened to all those millions your father made in the stock market?"Son of Gann: "He never left us millions. He left us $50,000 ( do not quote me on this.. it was a low figure). My father was a failure trading the stock market. Although he did o.k. selling his trading materials."There was a bit more to it than that but read the book for your-self and have a laugh at all those so called "Gann" experts selling trading methods based on a method whose originator never made any money from.Here is another fact about Gann... I read in the Market Wizards II book the Interview with William Eckhardt (p.110 / p.111) , and believe me if the top, professional traders talk about Gann trading methods in this way, you do not want to be wasting your time on it.Eckhardt: "If you wanted your computer system to be cognizant of slope, you would have to program this feature into it. At that point, it would become abundantly clear that the slope value depends directly on the choice of units and scales for the time and price axes"My comment: Basically he is saying in non mathematical language.. Gann angles for trading are too subjective.Jack Schwager: I have always been amazed by how many people are oblivious to the time scale-dependent nature of chart angles or unconcerned about its ramifications. My realization of the Inherent arbitrariness of slope of line methods is precisely I've never been willing to spend five minutes even five minutes on Gann angles or the works by the proponents of his methodology.There you have it.Verdict: I wouldn't even look at it for an academic interest point. Premiering in the late summer of 1997, South Park took American pop culture by storm with its no-holds-barred examination of social and political issues and its lewd yet unique brand of cartoon humor. Created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, South Park is the lynchpin of cable network Comedy Central's original programming lineup. Centered around the lives of several kids in the small Colorado town of South Park (a place prone to odd and paranormal occurrences), the series presents itself in the form of crude animated drawings, yet the concept works, playing home to innumerable well-written shows filled with boundless wit, well-timed one-liners, and an endless array of politically-incorrect humor. who are sometimes out of the office or kids away from home,

cards for kids or employees to get in touch with you, be sure

notorious for their busy signals. When you call in, you get a
recording that indicates the circuits are all busy and that you
should try your call again later. It's not going to do much good
to page your employee only to have him or her unable to get a

Think it's going to be too much trouble for your teen to keep up
with a phone card? If he or she can memorize the phone card
number, parents can retain the phone card and simply recharge it
periodically to be sure the teen has the ability to stay in
touch. If you're consistently recharging the same phone card,
